“Gosh, you sure do love dogs.” I get that a LOT. It’s true. My name is Jessica Bush and I blog daily about dogs, responsible dog ownership, local and sometimes national dog culture. Originally, a photo blog, DOGingham has since become a place for dog lovers to unite in celebration and advocacy with photographs, video, and educational information. Though I spend most of my time taking photos of a variety of dogs I make sure to spend the rest with hiking with my own snuggle bunnies…
Reading, writing, and cooking is in the mix some where too.
Wow…I think that sounds a bit stuffy! Which I am Not. But it IS accurate info. I think I have a mental block when I have to talk about myself or something.
The short of it all is very simple. I have three wonderful, beautiful dogs and love to connect with other dog owners. I truly believe that our pets are crucial to our existence on this planet. If you think that sounds a bit extreme, think about how much you would or would not get our of your house and TAKE A WALK on a regular basis. I’m not talking about the treadmill or the gym. I mean a real-honest-to-goodness-walk-around-your-neighborhood or park. Our dogs do that for us. We can quickly and easily connect with our community and nature simply by being a dog owner.

Jessica, it was great getting to speak with you, Dogingham sounds like a super idea… I will send you information about the War Dogs Memorial and our need to retire the remaining debt, down to $11,000.00… As your schedule permits, lets get together for lunch, my treat… Take care…

Enjoyed the chance to say hello in person today. Look forward to meeting up at some of the many dog events coming up. I have more time when classes aren’t in session.
