DOGingham is participating in our FIRST Community Event! Holy Smokey Mountains Batgirl!

We will also be present to meet some of you for the first time and share the fun of connecting hearty information with animal lovers. This has all happened pretty quickly, so the details are still being sussed out. STAY TUNED.

“Talk of Alabama” ABC 33/40 at 9 a.m. on March 10th. I will be discussing this important event with Aldridge Gardens Executive Director, Rip Weaver.

What: Paws in the Garden

Details: For all you dog parents and enthusiasts, bring your dog to the gardens and combine fun with education. Learn about war dogs, service dogs and rescue groups. Get advice from vets, trainers and groomers. Purchase doggy items from pet retailers and find out how you can stay in touch with other dog lovers. Most of all, let your dog enjoy the day on leash please. There will be an all day “Yappy Hour” water station available.
Birmingham Barons mascot “Babe Ruff” will drop by between 1:30 and 2:30.
Watch for the giant CraneWorks “Big Dog” at the entrance!
$10 per dog, $3 of which will benefit the Shelby County Humane Society.
Children’s Activities – doggy face painting with Liz Jordan and doggy balloon art
Food – hot dogs (of course) and sodas
